hey, have you ever wondered about life and death? is it sadistic?
sometimes, i do feel like i've strayed away from God, and the devil is the one guiding me.
it scares me sometimes.
i always wanted to look for answers, answers to questions.
when life goes wrong, do we always question God?
and when something goes the perfect way that we want it to, we always take the credit, although its God's doings?
maybe religion is a touchy issue.
maybe people just don't want to question their own beliefs.
i really don't know.
but i'll just keep the faith and trust the LORD!

to me, being beautiful is one thing, but being elegant is another. elegant may not need you to be glamorous or really pretty. its just that there's something about you that make people glance your way--something like the X-factor.

hey!! something spurred me on to write about betrayal today.. but i guess i better not.
i'll write about leadership then.
from the CCC : LEADER - ER = LEAD.
that's right, lead. leading is not an easy job. being a follower is easy, but a lead, it takes guts, motivation, confidence and most importantly support.
leadship is something that you must earn.
i've attend many courses on leadship, there are many different definitions for it.
here's one : a leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.
but mine definition of a leader, is just one word, influential.
a leader MUST be influential in order to first gain support of his/her follwers.
a leader MUSt be influential in order for the team to listen to him/her.
a leader MUST be influential in orfer for people to respect him/her.
Influential is the KEY!! to the LOCK of leadership.
the rest to me are tools to use to make you a successful leader.
leadership- it may sound easy to some of us, since we are councillors. however, as the years go by, i find it harder and harder to lead. competitiveness may be the cause , it may be due to getting tired of leading, or maybe don't see the need to.
i don't really know.
but a leader need to have the determination to carry on. althought the road seems tough, a leader needs to sweat it out, and no matter how tough, the leader makes the journey fun and worthwhile, as at the end, every team is hoping to see the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

when the beating of your heart echoes the beating of your footsteps...
'thud, thud' our feets echoed through the hall way, our results known.
nervous, nerve-racking!
debate makes you feel that way. the process is fun, even though you prepared well during the first 2 days, your mind may got blank in an instant on stage.
sitting at the audience may be an easy thing for you. however, i beg to differ.
being in the audience is as scary as being on stage. wanting soOoOo badly to get to the next round, watching each competitor talk their mouths out, trying to impress the judges, adrenaline and prayers were occupying my whole mind.
5.30.... and the last group to make it is Jurong Secondary!!
then it was photos, interviews....
walking throught the atrium of SIM, our footsteps echoed on the marble floor.
the war of words begin.. 2008
