such a rare chance that i get to be home early. but here i am, wasting my time in front of the computer. well, its either the com or the television. you know what? i'm so used to staying back in school, and then rushing home to do my revision that it feels weird to get to go home early. haha. but then again, miss tay said that i ought to give myself self time. aren't i doing it now? hmm... but i really hope to do well this term, cause i know the final shot is promo, and this term is the last term that i can score in active participation and written assignments.
i was doing my english comprehension on beauty just yesterday night and i really agree with the writer. women these days are actually living behind painted lies that present themselves to people everyday, the rareity meter of women who exudes confidence in the way she carries herself natural is actually decreasing. nowadays, you cannot walk out of your outside without a consealer, or a pimple cream. People do face massages before they sleep, spend hundreds of dollars on beauty products, to do what? to achieve the highest level of facial perfection that one can get. but isn't all of this on a superficial level? what comes out after you run, the sweat washes away all of your cream, and the stuff that oyou apply on yoru face, so waht if you have flaws on your skin, doesn't that make you human? yes, i know that first impression counts a lot. but, isn't inner eauty important too? people have been debating about this for decades. does outer beauty really matters? i guess only time can tell.. but i know for sure that i have no need for these products.
anyways, going to shower and continue my revision. all the way!!!

Put an e with a m and an o .... well, maybe not
My friends have been telling me to cheer up. i feel better today. but last week was horrendous!!! i mean seriously, it cannot get worst than that... other than being kicked out of council due to bad grades. even though i managed a avergae of c on my progress report but, with the additional of my common test results, woah!!>> i mean come on, give me a break.. i'm just your average girl.. i'm not really bright.. which is kind of ironinc as that's the meaning of my name. but anyways, its like.. the common test came right after the holidays.. holidays an you believe it? i studied like crazy during the holidays.. then i sat for my common test and what did i get?? two borderline passes and one fail... oh man.. seriously.. i think there' s a huge problem with my studying method.. but i have no idea what.!!! argh.. the wait is excruciating... its like you've already place your head on the noose and you're just waiting for someone to kick to chair below you... and that someone will ask you questions that.. you aren't suppose to answer, i mean whatever you answer will not make sense to him, or seem wrong and illogical.. so what's the point?? sigh.. i guess, i've reacher the dead end. now a miracle would be good dear God....

I WANT TO CRY ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what mr leow said is true: term 3 is undoubtedly the most stressful term in the entrie j1 life. i have to juggle studies, pw and sma.. like.. ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there are so many things to do, so little time, all crammed into like a week!!! i still have my tests to study for. i really need to do time management........ although i've not been good at it, but it sorts of always works out.. but now.. no matter how i plan it, just another sms, and all my plans will changed. everything every single detail. my almost perfectly planned schedule will be ruined. i have to do it all over again.. no matter how many times. i have to learn to juggle. i don't know how long i will be able to hold on.. before breaking down.. but i know that i must.. if not, all is too late................

the old days
its back to school and the first week is coming to an end soon.
got back my progress report today. it was.. oki, we'll see how it goes, although the inevitable end is near, but we still have one last outing together on the 25th right? haha how ironic, the last outing on the 25th.. which is my previous term of council that i belong to.
i've changed the blogskin, if you guys have noticed ^^ hehe finally found a skin to suit my current feeling. the last one expressed my lost, and distress to the new environment, leaving the familiar smell and nature of my previous school, and the only thing that links me to familiarity is the busride home. haha, but now, i've kind of found my place in school, even though i mix with a variety of people. i guess, i sort of belong in JJ now. haha well, there has been some mixed feelings for me at school.. some people may know what i'm talking about.. nvm about that, jia you in school that's all i ask for!!
btw, when i was on the bus home today, i was sitting behind a guy, who kept flicking his hair like there was some invisible flea/dandrugg on it, totally disgusting... imagine the hair swiping your face.. and.. oki, i will not go into details.

i miss china!!!!!
oki, here is part 2... as cont'd from yesterday!!! i miss china!!
before that, some updates: was on the phone with rab.. WE BOTH MISS CHINA.. haha she said that she woke up thinking that there were mozzies. haha.. oki, then kept smsing hui yi.. aww.. miss them!!! but heys, i get to see EVERYONE tmr!!!!!!!!!!! miss everyone!!! council and so6 and all my besties!!!
Day 5:
R & R day.
But in the morning, we did e-web with the china pc.. oh man, my heart aches!!!!! its like seeing your kids grown over the course of what? 3 days?? some of them cried... i cried inside..they've really achieved alot, i know that they were all under lots of pressure, mostly from me. but i really want to thanks God for giving me this bunch of super uber duper great kids to work with. especially yu yang, sheng tao, wu shuang, chen hui, xu ting.. etc ^^ love you guys!!!!!!!!!!!! after that was some song singing session, and giving out of certificates. oki, on the part of the certificates. i need to claim credit. haha i checked each single pile of certificates (with some help of course) haha to make sure that everything and everyone's was in place. i forgo my mass dance for this :( haha but it was worth it!! yeah!! anyways, once the zhong zi ling xiu left, it was personal time with the china pcs. giving out of certificates!!! ah.. all the hugs.. i love you all!!! lu yao, yang yan.. all my games com!!! ahh i'm seriously missing each and everyone of you!!!

followed by the trip to wu zhen haha. some boys went to relieve themselves, so mr choo taught us the JJ clap. haha it was uber fun. 1221,2112,1211,finale!!!!!!! woohoo!!! anyways, off to wuzhen. haha it was hot, but kind of fun... when wenwei and nirmal starting posing for photos. haha (facebook to see them) haha. uber funny!!!!!! thanks to wira and his cowboy hat, plus wen wei and his pair of sunglasses. haha. oki.. so did some shopping and haggling.. then we were off to walmart!!!!!! haha my group consist of.. of course, the three girls, plsu chong cher, wen wei. andrew and joe were supposed to come.. but i guess we sort of lost them along the way . anyways, we kind of bought some random stuff. haha rab was psyched when she saw the dbsk mirotic cd... it was cheap man i tell you!! haha.. oki.. then we head to kfc.. awwwwww the egg tarts rocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if only the kfc in singaproe sold egg tarts..... mmmmmmmmmm...
dinner back in the school.. woah.since it was the last night, we had to gulp down like............................................ more than 10 glasses of orange juice??? haha 3/4 of our stomach were filled with the juice haha .. oki, then it was time for fireworks!!!!!!!!! ahh!! oki, wait before that, we put on a performance for some of the china pcs who were sweeties, and stayed back to wait for us!!!yeah did the line dance and the claps. we had new kenneth and jia cheng claps!!!! woohoo!!oki, then we went for the fireworks galore!!!!! woohoo.. haha some of us pretended to be
harry potter, holding the wands and everything. uber cool!!!! haha then we broke up into two teams. one with xiao bai cai and the other with yu yang.i was in xiao bai cai's group. andrew: power of the veggies!!!!!!!! haha anyways, we ended up in the same room..... it was a dance cum song singing session for us!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love them all!!! oh man.. it was super duper memorable.. haha dance till i sweated. i was wearing jeans, to make to matter worse!afterwich, we had a time with the teachers.. tee yang presented mr ng with the cup.. printed with our faces!!! many of us cried.. oh man.. heart wrenching.:( oki. then we had an emo session....seriously really emo.. and one of the est experiences i ever had.. thank you guuys!!! haha after everyone sort of disbanded, we had a gamers hug. it felt weird. first, there was only me glenn and wen wei. then jia cheng and tee yang joined. so now i'm both a scdc and gamer haha and i was super sweaty thanks to all the 4 boys who hugged me!!! haha meng ting and min xia went back to our bunks to spend the night with us.. we talked about some stuff haha i think they really liked the number 2 ;)
Day 6:
an emotional day..we said lots of goodbyes... lots and lots of them., thank you qiu shi. thank you.
we left..... waving hands... to shanghai, where we changed buses... to shanghai finance center... we went up to the 100 floor for the breath-taking view haha follwed by the shanghai planning center. where we got this uber cute guy tour guide, who spoke fluent english--yes tommy, he's the exact one that you gguys got too. haha well had lunc and dinner both at some fanciful restaurant, with my table making the most noise as usual. oh boy, poor nirmal. haha had to drink finish like... 1 whole bottle of orange juice again. haha then we went to nanjing road.. i've been there before with the stars, in sec 3 haha... anyways, the same group of people. plus andrew and joe now, went to startbucks for a cuppa. haha so funny things happened there i must say ^^ haha.
on the road to the airport, many of us were beat! haha slept throughout the bus ride.... till the airport. did some reflections in the airport haha we had fun didn't we??
then it was home sweet home...... slept for a few hours before watching the second half of push... the plane decended...
Singapore, home..

Qiu Shi Qiu Shi Ding Gua Gua!!
i'm officially back from the China trip... and i'm proud to pronounce: I MISS CHINA!!!!
Day 1:
The 16 of us set out on the route towards Shanghai, we wore masks in the airport.. i could have gotten an asthma attack!! it was uber stuffy.boarded plane sq 828!!! watched the hannah montana movie and 17 again. haha it was uber funny. i kept laughing like a lunatic behind the mask. to make it worst, i was sitting alone and i think the other passengers must be staring at me. we arrived in Shanghai after 5 hours and 15mins.we had to stay in the plane for a while as men/women in white suits-covered from head to toe, came on board with forehead thermometers.. you know those ak-47... guns.. with the red pointers.. yup.. thermometers looking like guns. haha anyways, when we were clearing immigration, glenn was so honest to tick all the symptoms of H1N1... fever, runny nose..etc.he had to go to the hospital, to run 10 hours worth of check. haha oki, the rest of us headed down to qiu shi experimental school first.
ON the bus ride, shared the earpiece with randy haha, listening to korean songs. yeah!!! it took us about 2-3 hours before we finally arrived at qiu shi.woah.. its a really big sch.. like 5-6 storeys
we had a scrumptous dinner, before we went to recee the place. haha everything looked scary at night. we had our own song singing session on the steps to the library, to familiarise ourselves with the songs. we were quite a sight, huddling on the stairs. oki, then we checked in into our bunks. oh man!! the facilities were not as good as i thought it would be. Woke up in the middle of the night fighting with commando mosquitos. not a good start.
Day 2:
Woke up to the bright sunlight.... and its only 5.30!!!
the left side of my face was swollen with mosquito bites, i couldn't even open my left eye!
anyways, sunday.. it was time to meet up with the china pc!!!! i was a little anxious and excited at the same time. my chinese was not that good and i did not really know where to begin. luckily, i had wen wei with me. phew. haha, we played mrt and blow wind blow. the problem was, they said their names so quickly that i didn't catch any of them!!! urgh!! they kept calling my name , i had no choice but to rely on my chinese AI. haha. oki, blow wind blow was fun. then after that, we played hunter, squirrel as a mass game. then it was back to serious work- the planning and discussion. hmm.. it was quite a gruelling process as they themselves did not plan anything. we had to force our work on them, yet ask them to add their own personal touch.
Lunch!!! we had fried ice-cream!!! woohoo.. the vanilla oozzing out of the crispy pastry is a must! oo lala!!. haha lunch was like a man han quan xi.. a 10 course meal with never ending dishes. after lunch, we welcomed our heoric mr choo and glenn, back from the hospital. haha its good to have the games comm back again.^^ we continued our discussion, before our A.O.P, with mr tan. anyways, we had to prepare quite a lot, the stations and places for scavenger hunt. i was to oversee it for the next day..
Dinner!!! had a fast one, before we had debrief and an overview of the schedule for tmr. then it's back to our bunks, for the fight with the mosquitos!!!!
Day 3:
woke up early. the girls were always punctual.. waiting for the boys.>.< where have all the gentlemen gone to!? haha anyways, while the scdc were teaching their mass dances, cheers and songs, we, the gamers were busy preparing for our scavenger hunt. it was hectic!!!!!!!! there was so much to do, so little time.. woah!!! it was quite an experience, running here and there, printing stuff, giving briefings, dry run on the games, the emcees, explanation. everything!!! wow.. oki...
Lunch... as usual, my table was always filled with lame jokes and laughter.. remind me to get the jokes from hui yi haha it was so funny. i enjoyed all hte meals throughly!!^^
back to scavenger hunt. when everything was in place, the hunt was on. i had to run around, overseeing everything, making sure that everything was oki. i had no trouble until midgame, when the classes were going on so fast that one station had two classes. some jjcians had to step in to make them do cheers and stuff, to buy time. some students actually got lost from their class. i had to bring them around personally to find their class for them. phew.. it was both tiring and exhausting, since it was the first time i'm in games. the scavenger hunt finally ended with the entire sec 1 cohort forming the word 'qiu shi no. 1' and with us, taking a photo ( found in facebook) it was uber cool!!!!!!
then dinner, and SSS.. well.. my job was to rarrar the crowd before sss, i didn't do a very good job of it, and i had to get help, fast!! hui yi was there, and she was so hilarious when she was scolding them that i had to muffle my laughter haha. well, during sss, i didn't have time to join them, i had a talk with wen wei and mr tan, about tmr's station games. i was going to oversee it again. haha ode to joy. oki, so we were discussing it and we changed almost the entire thing, inculding the games. haha. after SSS was over, we headed to the command center to have our briefing. it was tiring.... snooze... for a while...
Day 4:
woke up witha swollen finger!!! rab's eyes couldn't open thanks to the mosquito bites on her eyes, and hui yi's mouth was swollen. haha.. sorry hui yi, i couldn't stop laughing. haha anyways, we were looked like the three freaks of jj haha hui yi wore a mask the entire day, and i helped her draw a smiley face on it ^^ hope that it makes you fell better. haha anyways, we had to rush as the first activity was station games!!!!!!!!!!!! argh!!!!!!!!!! wen wei and glenn was praying that i would rain, so that telelmatch could be cancelled. haha well, somehow their prayers worked,it rained. but staion games still continued, as all the stations were indoors. well, it went on quite smoothly, i managed to have some interaction with the children and did the tao yan san lian pai with them. haha uber fun!!!! had to use the delaying tactic again.i'm really thankful for yu yang and sheng tao, who followed my around like 6 plus hours these two days!!! haha. ii had fun with the china pcs too!! haha love you all guys!!! i've seen their improvement and the sweat they put in 110%!!!!! thank you all!!

MORE LAME JOKES!! haha yup i can still walk ^^ then we went to perfect our mass dances.. line dance and our special performance.. 5 colours in her hair. sorry joe.. i turned down your offer of dancing with you :( haha hui yi specifically wanted to dance with jia cheng, rb with wen wei. i ended up dancing with glenn. haha clare and glenn. oh ya!! my name and glenn's name cannot be differentiated clearly over the walkie talkie. haha jia cheng went: jia cheng to clare, jia cheng to clare, jia cheng to clare, clare, clare. haha sometimes i heard. glenn, glenn, glenn haha so funny.
Dinner!! poor uber, had to rush through to see to the qiu shi night prep. oki, so after that, me and jia cheng left to rarrar the crowd.. oki, mainly it was him doing the job. he's so good witht he kids!!! haha i'm more of just coordinating them, where they should stand and stuff. haha oki, then we headed to the auditorium for our performance. plans changed!!!! haha when it was our turn to perform, i had the shock of my life!!! kenneth, instead of wen wei, came on stage to dance!!! haha i had to cover for him, haha so funny. but joe said we look professional and nobody could tell that we sort of screwed up haha it was such an amazing experience!!!!! haha i had fun. then i had to rarrar the crowd, go among the students, asking them to sway along, sing along, not to sit donwn. haha some of them came up to me asking for my autograph. especially for nirmal's haha he becamoe a superstat overnight. mr ng even joked: now you know how i feel haha that's cool!!! qiu shi night was quite all right, i guess. but i believe we could have done better.
we bathed in insect repellet, as advised by zhang hang, the expert haha.
.... i cannot go on anymore.. i'll probably laugh or cry till i die. i'll blog more either tmr or monday.. when the memory is still fresh. it'll always be fresh.. i love qiu shi!!!!

ON the bus ride, shared the earpiece with randy haha, listening to korean songs. yeah!!! it took us about 2-3 hours before we finally arrived at qiu shi.woah.. its a really big sch.. like 5-6 storeys
we had a scrumptous dinner, before we went to recee the place. haha everything looked scary at night. we had our own song singing session on the steps to the library, to familiarise ourselves with the songs. we were quite a sight, huddling on the stairs. oki, then we checked in into our bunks. oh man!! the facilities were not as good as i thought it would be. Woke up in the middle of the night fighting with commando mosquitos. not a good start.
Day 2:
Woke up to the bright sunlight.... and its only 5.30!!!
the left side of my face was swollen with mosquito bites, i couldn't even open my left eye!
anyways, sunday.. it was time to meet up with the china pc!!!! i was a little anxious and excited at the same time. my chinese was not that good and i did not really know where to begin. luckily, i had wen wei with me. phew. haha, we played mrt and blow wind blow. the problem was, they said their names so quickly that i didn't catch any of them!!! urgh!! they kept calling my name , i had no choice but to rely on my chinese AI. haha. oki, blow wind blow was fun. then after that, we played hunter, squirrel as a mass game. then it was back to serious work- the planning and discussion. hmm.. it was quite a gruelling process as they themselves did not plan anything. we had to force our work on them, yet ask them to add their own personal touch.
Lunch!!! we had fried ice-cream!!! woohoo.. the vanilla oozzing out of the crispy pastry is a must! oo lala!!. haha lunch was like a man han quan xi.. a 10 course meal with never ending dishes. after lunch, we welcomed our heoric mr choo and glenn, back from the hospital. haha its good to have the games comm back again.^^ we continued our discussion, before our A.O.P, with mr tan. anyways, we had to prepare quite a lot, the stations and places for scavenger hunt. i was to oversee it for the next day..
Dinner!!! had a fast one, before we had debrief and an overview of the schedule for tmr. then it's back to our bunks, for the fight with the mosquitos!!!!
Day 3:
woke up early. the girls were always punctual.. waiting for the boys.>.< where have all the gentlemen gone to!? haha anyways, while the scdc were teaching their mass dances, cheers and songs, we, the gamers were busy preparing for our scavenger hunt. it was hectic!!!!!!!! there was so much to do, so little time.. woah!!! it was quite an experience, running here and there, printing stuff, giving briefings, dry run on the games, the emcees, explanation. everything!!! wow.. oki...
Lunch... as usual, my table was always filled with lame jokes and laughter.. remind me to get the jokes from hui yi haha it was so funny. i enjoyed all hte meals throughly!!^^
back to scavenger hunt. when everything was in place, the hunt was on. i had to run around, overseeing everything, making sure that everything was oki. i had no trouble until midgame, when the classes were going on so fast that one station had two classes. some jjcians had to step in to make them do cheers and stuff, to buy time. some students actually got lost from their class. i had to bring them around personally to find their class for them. phew.. it was both tiring and exhausting, since it was the first time i'm in games. the scavenger hunt finally ended with the entire sec 1 cohort forming the word 'qiu shi no. 1' and with us, taking a photo ( found in facebook) it was uber cool!!!!!!
then dinner, and SSS.. well.. my job was to rarrar the crowd before sss, i didn't do a very good job of it, and i had to get help, fast!! hui yi was there, and she was so hilarious when she was scolding them that i had to muffle my laughter haha. well, during sss, i didn't have time to join them, i had a talk with wen wei and mr tan, about tmr's station games. i was going to oversee it again. haha ode to joy. oki, so we were discussing it and we changed almost the entire thing, inculding the games. haha. after SSS was over, we headed to the command center to have our briefing. it was tiring.... snooze... for a while...
Day 4:
woke up witha swollen finger!!! rab's eyes couldn't open thanks to the mosquito bites on her eyes, and hui yi's mouth was swollen. haha.. sorry hui yi, i couldn't stop laughing. haha anyways, we were looked like the three freaks of jj haha hui yi wore a mask the entire day, and i helped her draw a smiley face on it ^^ hope that it makes you fell better. haha anyways, we had to rush as the first activity was station games!!!!!!!!!!!! argh!!!!!!!!!! wen wei and glenn was praying that i would rain, so that telelmatch could be cancelled. haha well, somehow their prayers worked,it rained. but staion games still continued, as all the stations were indoors. well, it went on quite smoothly, i managed to have some interaction with the children and did the tao yan san lian pai with them. haha uber fun!!!! had to use the delaying tactic again.i'm really thankful for yu yang and sheng tao, who followed my around like 6 plus hours these two days!!! haha. ii had fun with the china pcs too!! haha love you all guys!!! i've seen their improvement and the sweat they put in 110%!!!!! thank you all!!
lunch!! MORE LAME JOKES!! haha yup i can still walk ^^ then we went to perfect our mass dances.. line dance and our special performance.. 5 colours in her hair. sorry joe.. i turned down your offer of dancing with you :( haha hui yi specifically wanted to dance with jia cheng, rb with wen wei. i ended up dancing with glenn. haha clare and glenn. oh ya!! my name and glenn's name cannot be differentiated clearly over the walkie talkie. haha jia cheng went: jia cheng to clare, jia cheng to clare, jia cheng to clare, clare, clare. haha sometimes i heard. glenn, glenn, glenn haha so funny.
Dinner!! poor uber, had to rush through to see to the qiu shi night prep. oki, so after that, me and jia cheng left to rarrar the crowd.. oki, mainly it was him doing the job. he's so good witht he kids!!! haha i'm more of just coordinating them, where they should stand and stuff. haha oki, then we headed to the auditorium for our performance. plans changed!!!! haha when it was our turn to perform, i had the shock of my life!!! kenneth, instead of wen wei, came on stage to dance!!! haha i had to cover for him, haha so funny. but joe said we look professional and nobody could tell that we sort of screwed up haha it was such an amazing experience!!!!! haha i had fun. then i had to rarrar the crowd, go among the students, asking them to sway along, sing along, not to sit donwn. haha some of them came up to me asking for my autograph. especially for nirmal's haha he becamoe a superstat overnight. mr ng even joked: now you know how i feel haha that's cool!!! qiu shi night was quite all right, i guess. but i believe we could have done better.
we bathed in insect repellet, as advised by zhang hang, the expert haha.
.... i cannot go on anymore.. i'll probably laugh or cry till i die. i'll blog more either tmr or monday.. when the memory is still fresh. it'll always be fresh.. i love qiu shi!!!!
