Picture Perfect

it all started when i picked up a 'Practical Photography' magazine. flipping through the pages has brought me to another world of still life.

i'm not sure if i can put a picture up, i don't want to violate his property and any laws pertaining to stealing other people's work. but we'll, i'll describe to you about the butterfly then: taken from many angles, the butterfly can be seen in many different ways. From the wings, all the way to the posture the butterfly , when it perches itself on a branch, the butterfly's figure is yelling 'elegance'. The spreading of the wings shows a carefree and breaking free kind of feeling!! able to spread your wings , not bound down by the worries of the world.

The next thing that facinated me is about this guy, Gary Knight, whom sort of preserved long-form photo essay.As they say, a picture speaks a thousand words... photo essay is essentially a story with a visual narrative. So cool!!
