curtain call

the lights dim.

the curtain closes.

the claps come in.

its done, fnished, over.

there wasn't a chance to linger on stage, to breathe in the last second. the final moment where the characters shouted : oh shut up and kiss her already

i didn't even get the chance to watch the actual play cause i was hiding behind the curtains backstage, praying that everything will go on smoothly. overall, it was fine. (except for the mic problem)

lines were jumbled, sections were moved. but on the whole. smooth

what going on in my head right now? 'i like that. run it.'
the line keeps replaying and replaying like a broken taperecorder

i'm quite happy with the results though.
although we didn't get best play, but aqil, our leading man won best actor.

the first class won best play, which was quite obvious that they would be the winner. i mean, great acting.
benedict was wearing a dress. haha he looks beautiful :P

the second class play in on a genre that i adore- mystery.
its called murder in the green room.

our play is called, bobby brain.
rep, amygdala and cort are three parts of bobby's brain that comes into conflict when deciding on whether to woo the female species or not. haha the approaches are different, which injects humour into the play. but i have to admit, some jokes are pretty difficult to comprehend. whatever the case, i think we pulled it off!

the teacher's play was more abstract, about a wall that was there, or wasn't there.
the smart play of using local terms in the cript drew many laughters from the crowd. haha it was a great finish overall, though many left before the przie presentation, which was a pity, and a little disrespectful in my case.

anyways, that's about all that happened today. its just dramatically over.

that's it, drama fest is over.

the curtain closes.

=do something right=
