And so my first week of internship ended. Other than the first day, the other 3 days I had overtime. lol on my first week. But I guess it is kind of worth it since I am handling real live cells. Just passaged HK2 cells on friday! hehe finally some lab work in the short span of 3 days :) My mentor said maybe I can start handling ES cells soon but hopefully I won't screw up since ES cells are kind of exhaustive and its hard to get them.

Mentally draining and physically tiring since I have been walking around trying to keep myself busy haha My mentor really expect much from me, so I should take this as an opportunity to learn. My seriousness level has gone up! haha so yeah I think I will be able to perform well :)

Of course its not all work and no play. I met up with my soon to be 3rd FOC group-lelantus :) although it our first meeting but I felt really comfortable with them and I really cannot wait for the camp!!! yay! haha though its going to be tiring but it would be another fruitful week.

I have interspersed random meetings with random group of people/person to spice up my night life as well though I really do need my beauty sleep. Pimples popping up on my face already >:( haha my friends will be coming in next week and there will be a new intern joining me. Heard that it would most likely be a girl (groans) haha hoping that it would be some cute boy haha My life is soOoOOooo deprived xp haha need some good eye candy to look at. Crushes are too painful... that's why they are called crushes right haha :)

Weekends are roughly just spent chilling and wasting my time away on the computer trying to catch up on all the shows I have missed during the week. Driving revision starts next month so ... yeah. haha that's about all. 1 week down 9 more to go! I can do this!
