there's still 53 mins more till the end of this day, so i might as well make the most out of it.
today was one of my most memorable day. why?? because............................................
it's my birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well, it started of with mum giving me a card in the morning. haha she always does that, then receiving birthday wishes via smses came next ^^.
went to church, oki, it was quite weird sitting quietly among brother and sisters in Christ, when you just feel like shouting : hey everyone, its my birthday, and hope that suddenly everyone will rumange through their bags and give you a present. well, at least i got two present from church- God's grace and the tiny tots put up a presentation (for me) haha nah, for the congregation. they were adorable nevertheless, though almost none of them sang the songs that they were supposed to present.
then i went to jp with my parents, had to walk around for a while, waiting for my mum's medicine to be fully digested and absorbed into the body. haha then went to dian xiao er to eat--- my mind went 'finally' since, we've been trying to get my dad to eat that restaurant, as we kept boasting to him how we(me and mum) enjoyed the food there. well, he fell in love with the duck cooked with 10 wonder herbs. its was quuite a filling lunch, but filling in a nice, moderate way^^. then it was off to get my bday present..........................
the sweeeeeet, baby-g R-300PV-2..
olala!!!!!!!!!! i mean come on, i love its specifications, though i was intially torn between two type of baby-gs. but i'll only get it tomorrow, since the shop did not have the colour that i liked, and i have to order it.. no worrys, there are no surcharge. hehe.
then 3.30 arrived, haha it was kind of like a looooong gruelling wait, cause both rab and hui yi DID NOT tell me what they were going to do with me, or where they were bringing me.
in the end, i found out-----
We went suntec to catch
CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEAT BALLS--3D
haha,it was uber funny, cute and awwwwwwwwwwwwwww.........
i learnt some new 'terms' like : ratbird, monkey language translator, remote controlled tv(literally, the tv has legs) and my personal favourite--- SPRAY-ON SHOES!!!!(that unfortunately, will not come off) haha its so cool.oki, we took some random shots in us wearing though hilarious looking 3d lens, and for course, i ended up laughing at hui yi. she looked so funny in those glasses. haha anyways, the show was nice..... i sort of learn some kissing techhniques. haha. so cute..!!!!
then went for dinner-- FISH AND CO. oki--that was the real surprise, the treated me to dinner, we had seafood platter for one + ususal fish and chips + this humongous mug of sharkie freeze... woah.. it was just right. haha. the real surprise was:
HUI YI AND RAB MADE ME A VIDEO (UBER TOUCHING) AND HUI YI TRIED TO PLAY THE GUITAR,though it was quite funny haha, but its the thought that counts, was really touched^^.but the best thing was that, i know that they'll always be there for me.^^
we had fun just walking around aimlessly, sitting in front of the fountain of wealth hoping to catch a glimpse of the messages projected into the fountain, but to no avail due to some inconsiderate people that couldn't get hui yi's hint when she cleared her throat REALLLLLY loudly. haha and also snuggling up in gloria jeans coffee house, bending over a magazine and just commenting on models, fashion and how they should just get a life haha. well, this day was really AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
haha wished that my birthday could be every single day^^.
anyways, i would like to say a big Thank You to all those who sent me their wishes!!! and for the presents, and to my best buddies!! thanks***!!!
p.s, photos will be uploading by tonight (according to our official photographer- hui yi) on facebook. so just log on to my page to take a look!!!
THANKS* GOD FOR BLEESING ME WITH SUCH A WONDERFUL BRITHDAY!!

failed gp!!! what the!!
NEWS FLASH: i failed gp!!!
oki, you may think that just by 2 marks, its not such a big deal. but in fact
IT IS A BIG DEAL
i mean, come on, its the first time in my entire life that i failed english. its equivalent to me jumping down the building after preparing for my funeral. i'm bracing myself to get a huge whacking, probably leading on to a body dismembering event, from my dad. my mind is just scrunched up into a ball, filled with frustrations and the urge to scream... maybe not, i just want to find the teacher who marked mine script and demand more marks. i mean, come on!!!!!!!!!!! i deserve more!!! ah!!!!! why is this happening it me. anyways, i've known my mistakes, after going through with miss chng--- i need to read up more, switch structure, more EXAMPLES!! but the consolation is this is only 40%,
BUT WHO CARES!!!
i still failed!!!!!!!!!!!.
its so annoying. urgh!!!!! it'll pull my A grade down. i need to buck up...!!! all the way clarissa you can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOD I NEED YOU TO SHINE YOUR COUNTENANCE ON ME!!!!!!!!!!

Do you come here often?? well, yeah!!
Promos are finally over!!! happy happy. haha it ended with chemistry paper yesterday.
took a solo trip down memory lane--to the place where i frequented alone.. orchard road.. specifically, kinokuniya bookstore. but before that, i found out that i was actually very Singaporean. why do i say that? just coming out of the mrt at orcahrd station, feeling the rush of the Singaporean crowd. i happen to walk beside a Eurasian guy, who seemed lost. Overwhelmed i guess, by the crowd. haha. but being a TYPICAL Singaporean, i was went (in my mind of course) if the crowd wasn't this big, there must be something wrong about orchard. i displayed my Signaporean skills right in front of his eyes- cutting the queue. its quite simple actually, i call the technique "follow the crowd'. you just have to blend in, keep your eye on a targetted figure, move swiftly behind him them ta-da, before you know it, you'll be on the escalator.
walking down the stairs, into ngee ann city, gave me the feeling that i was back home. its so different from secondary school, where i'll party with my friends once the examinations were over. but now, they live so far away, my other friends have their other friends to go out with. and me, i'm left alone (boulavard of broken dreams play at the background) but hey, being the ever optimistic clarissa, haha i went out on my own!!!
kino is my all-time favourite bookstore, i can get lost in there for hours, but please!! they really should not have removed the chairs from behind the shelves-- i had to sit at the kiddies section to read my books!!! but i bought what i wanted^^ thanks* dad, i sort of snagged your money. haha. took the ride home from dad.
btw, i borrowed one book titled "do you come here often" . i thought the title was quite interesting and it is by one of my favourite authors ( actually not really favourite cause i on;y own one of her books)-alexandra potter. i love the way she uses three worded phrases to emphasis something. here are some snippets:
~Watching, Waiting, Hoping
~ Totally, Utterly, Completely
And this phrase can totally match my mood when i need to rise up early in the morning:
IN a distant, disconnected place, her(that's Grace the protagonist) brain was trying to tell her to get up, get ready, and go to work(it'll be go to school for me) , but her body wasn't responding. Her limbs seemed to have been paralyzed overnight(that was what i told my friends the other day). Even her eyelids were refusing to open. She was just lying there. Thinking nothing. Doing nothing. Just breathing in. And breathing out. Slowly, dreamily, blissfully.
oki, maybe it wasn't just a phase. but a few sentences, but so what?? that's the sentences adapted from the start of chapter 1. can't you relate to it? i can!! don't you love it? i do!! its so witty, yet realistic, even though the entire story is not really realistc. but hey, at least the description is nice ^^
i cannot wait to finish the book, its beena long time since i picked up a book to read(times and gp content pack do not count). well, that's about all.
but i'm kind of still in paranomia land, thinking about the horrid results that i'll receive from promos. its like what my uncle says" waiting for the verdict" sigh.. i guess the wait will be excruciating, but i hope that i can promote with 3H2 passes!!! praise the LORD!!! all the best.
GOD BLESS!!
