First and foremost:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHENG ZAI WEI!!!
there'll be lots more birthdays coming up. yupyup :)
f.y.i october is the month where most people are born in. haha.
my class and i were thinkning of the reason and we came out with this hypothesis: during valentine's day, people celebrate that day by doing special stuff. count nine months down--- out comes the baby :)
anyways, it the end of the week. my mood's been better so yeah:) that's a piece of good news. or maybe its just because the weekend is here. hmm.. i wonder. anyways. my stomach muscles are aching due to yesterday's work out session at the gym. i love to exercise!!! i tried out every machine there was in the school gym. from the treadmill to the cycling machine and not forgetting this machine (no idea what's its called) but when you're on it, it makes you feel like astroboy. haha. did sit-ups with veron's help. and push-ups. yup. sort of a full body work out XD. it was raining in the morning so pe was cancelled but veron and me still headed to the gym anyways. last week's pe was fun. and for the record, I LOVE FLOORBALL!!! woots!!! it was tiring but AWESOME to running under the scorching sun and 'steal' the ball from everyone. haha i think i make a good defender?? :X haha but it was really great. anyways, back to yesterday. gp consultation was really funny. here are the pictures.
the projector was off so tommy vivaciously wanted to press it. haha but he looks like a socks model though haha.

Disclaimer!!! tommy's using his INDEX finger to jab. no vulgar poses. |
oki.. after pressing it like a thousand and one times, it still couldn't work. wei kia our ava personnel was not around. maybe chenxi, his close aside could help. haha but to no avail. (oops snapped this when chenxi was talking to hafizah :X)
veron to the rescue!!!!! hmm.. i could photoshop the projector away and replace it with something funny. haha both of them are in awe of a projector. i was the guilty party, busy snapping away and laughing.
this was what we saw, when the projector was FINALLY up and running. in case its not clear: 'the lamp ahs reached the end of its usable life' what in the world?? usable life. haha oki that's funny.
and so gp consultation continued.
today.. was an uber long day for me cause i was quite tired. the exhaustion accumulated over the last 4 days really wearied me down. anyways. this is a picture that i took. reminds me of something:
any idea???
haha yup, it reminds me of SINGAPORE!! the little red dot that 455,863 students all use in their gp essays if they want to compare the geopgraphical size of our country to others. this brings us to another issue--the death of mdm kwa geok choo aka mm lee's wife of 63 years, the 'mother' of Singapore. the fine, Asian woman who despite being more intelligient then him, always walked two steps behind her husband like a good Asian wife would. the only girl in Raffles Instituition. one of the recipient of the 2 prestigious Queen's scholarship. finished and polished off her studies at Cambridge university in the short span of 2 years. the mother of our current PM. the survivor of 3 strokes. the outgoing, adorable and witty lady who was always presient in her judgement. she was never wrong.
i may not have known mdm kwa personally. didn't have the honour to. however. her death coverage spanned 5 days. and in this 5 days, i've read about her life, her love and her fight against stroke. the eulogies of her sons, daughter, husband, grandchildren, all spoke about the good and humane person that she was. i find singapore blessed to have this woman, to have guided mm lee thorughout his governance of singapore. even when the batton was passed on to mr lee hsien loong, she was still an integral part of it. so i'm thankful that God has given me a good country to live in. may you rest in peace mdm kwa.
its 10 more days.
i'm still hoping that nothing bad will happen.
so far the bad things i've felt, i'm still able to take.
i'm trying to ignore the sick feeling and brush everything off.
jia you clare!!!
just take a deep breath. and keep walking forward.
= do something right=
