Day 77
Hello everyone! i am finally back on the net :D
Sorry i didn't have time to use the computer during the weekends as Hammie and gang came down to visit us from Seoul and Busan :) Really glad that they enjoyed what Maureen and I planned for them plus they loved the food like seriously haha Daejeon has awesome food with awesome prices!! :D
My throat and cold is getting better! yippee!! Praise the LORD!! haha then i will recover in time for the baseball game that i am going to watch on Sunday haha another first live Korean baseball game :) its cool how i can learn all the rules within one seating of a meal. Freddy and Hammie was explaining the rules to me during dinner when we headed over to Busan last month haha. Heading to Seoul in another two weeks!! whee~ haha my weekend schedule is really tight huh haha :) but must enjoy work hard and play hard to the fullest!! :)
A sudden realization that it is going to be close to 3 months since Feb when i first arrived. Now everything i do has become a routine. I think i will miss Korea when i head back to Singapore in July. :/ miss maybe the food, the stores, the way things are laid out, the dorm, the freedom? haha well. i guess i will miss touring around and not caring THAT much... oki fine i still care and am going to chiong assignment later on... but still, i guess i kind of reached the second low on the adaptive curve. the first low was home sickness, the second was a high peak -- where you managed to adapt and you are enjoying. the third one is the second low; the point where you suddenly reflect and think about the little amount of time you left in this country. 'you can always come back' people might say, but things would be different. everything is different from the moment circumstances change and you are unable to turn back the clock. So i think that we should just live in every single moment and appreciate every single event. no matter good or bad.
So even though my health might not be in tip-top condition and my studies might not be above average or even at the average mark of the Korean students, but i promise myself that i will give my best and put in all my efforts into everything i do (its like reiterating the caption i put under the intro of my blog but whatever) haha try new stuff and have fun :)
'if your heart is not in it, you best take yourself out of it!'
=do something right=
