the only thing that i am not accustomed to is the weather. Sometimes i even wonder why did i even bother to shower before heading out into the sweltering heat again. haha.
Caught a great movie amidst my busy schedules of meet-ups. Its really good to be back, to see all the familiar faces, take the usual transportations.
SECRETLY, GREATLY.
Spy. Undercover identity: Singer wannabe
Captain. Spy. Undercover identity: Village idiot
My personal bias :) Youngest in the team, respects the captain more than his life. Undercover identity: High school student
There was never a boring moment during this 2hr and 4 mins movie. Every scene was heart wrenching, be it having the suave Kim Soo Hyun rolling down the stairs at least 3 times every day to continue his act of being the village idiot (imaging doing that for 2 years), or having my dear Lee Hyun Woo getting shot at by bullets from the South Korean Swat team. Even Park Ki-Woong's cool persona was not spared from the injuries given to him by the North Korean leader's henchmen called to execute all North Korean spies under the 5446 Special unit. You never know what would happen next until the scene is being played. Of course the acting was really marvellous and i am not just being bias, Kim Soo Hyun really handled the emotions very well. He got into character and was not afraid to spoil his image as an idol. Park Ki-Woong did not have much air time in my opinion (since Kim was the obvious lead) but then his last scene of dying as a hero really made an impact. Lee Hyun Woo. ah. what can i say haha not just a pretty boy, but the maturity required, the tough dialogue and all his cool moves (Kim on par), he nailed it as well :) Too bad i only get to see his charming eye smile right at the end. awwww what can i say, i am such a goner for him haha :)
The question which left a deep impression on me was " which is more important, your mother or your country?" and Kim replied something along the line of "where would the country be without its people"
i would not mind watching it again. even if its just to catch of lee hyun woo's eye smile :) haha. but overall, a good movie :)
thumbs up to Mr Son Hyeon Joo as well for his great acting as the Commander Colonel. :)
=do something right=
