Condolences

To the late MM Lee:
You were a God-sent gift for Singapore. With your wits and far-sightedness, you built Singapore up from scratch to how it is today. You fought hard for us and spent every waking moment thinking about us. You are truly a visionary.
How I would like to remember you by is not solely based on your efforts and works but rather for your tenderness towards your wife as well. The unmistakable partnership and rapport you shared with the late Mrs Lee.
During her passing, you placed a single rose in her coffin and sent her off with flying kisses. I thank God for showing this humane side of you, this love really touched me. Thank God for the gift of you to Singapore, to make this country a place I call home.

To PM Lee:
Though the nation has lost a great leader, but you have lost something more- a father. The nation grieves with you. May God continue to bless you with wisdom to continue his legacy. Like us, MM Lee had faith in you to hand over his precious masterpiece. I pray for your strength to lead Singapore towards a better future.
