2012

As the year draws to an end with today, 31st December 2012, i cannot help but reflect on this year's events. I do it every year, but this year, has been different. What i experienced this year has been really fulfilling, and unlike any of my other years. The memories i made this year will be treasured so much more than the previous years. Maybe as i step into the big 2-0, i discover more, i feel more and i grow more.

Let's do a breakdown through the months shall we,

January 2012
The start of year 1 sem 2. even though some stuff happened at home, i was happy that we managed to pull through. Magneto had a house hopping. I didn't enjoy the food much as i was down was throat inflammation and a fever. But luckily and Thank God i was well enough to attend. I didn't get to attend CNY at Grandma's though :/

February 2012
Whoops, i might have mixed up the months, or nothing really eventful happened in January. CNY was supposed to be in February i supposed. Well, there is also valentine gift exchange that we did with Magneto :) it is nice that our bond is still strong over time. Though next year it will be the real test of this bond.

March 2012
Hmmm funny how i do not remember much of this month as well. I know for sure that i took my electives alone that semester. Both electives. Oh and i stuck to Yew Hung practically like glue haha cause i really wanted to improve, other than that... not so much i guess. SBS did have some school events like 40th anniversary and tile painting etc. But i guess it is kind of like the norm in uni life. The best thing was probably recess week, where we all studied like crazy just to ace our mid-terms.

April 2012
The month with most birthdays in Magneto, i supposed we had celebrations. Then it was mugging mugging oh!! what i remembered most was doing lab reports and going back to school (including sundays) to complete lab reports haha did it with sprout and the twins sometimes. yup. mugging mugging.

May 2012
Finals for year 1 sem 2 and them it was mainly preparation for FOC 2012!!! Ultima the Last Alliance! :) There were a lot of outings, bbq and yes!! dance practices haha. i realized that each paragraph is getting shorter and shorter oops. but i have become more concise haven't I? That is actually part 1, there are a total of 3 parts.. eh i've starred in almost all of them... cause i happen to be there at the right time with a certain attire being made available haha yup :)

June 2012
This month was mainly about dance practices. Tiring but fun :) Preparing the group identity and stuff :)

July 2012
The month that i will never forget in this lifetime. FOC and YEP consecutively :) i think i would have blogged about it in the previous posts so yeah :) I made a new group of friends and joined the YOLO family!!! :)

August 2012
School reopened with a bang! With my new freshies coming and stuff. Plus back-2-school uniform day was one of the most fun activity i joined :) Woah this is getting tiring.. year 2 sem 1 is seriously no joke i tell you. none at all!!! OH!!! Mama's friend tobias came from switzerland!!! haha we visited USS together!! i have a post on that as well :)

September 2012
Lumbering and sloughing through, i really missed year 1 sem 2 sobs... it was my favourite year so far haha. i became secretariat subcom member once again. 2 years running--- i have no dreams for being the hon gen. thank you very much. i had a taste of what it is to be like and nope i absolutely do not like it haha.

October 2012
:) nothing much happened, everyone is busy finishing up their hw experiment and final report. The only good thing is that To the Beautiful and Panda and Hedgehog were airing and i absolutely love these two shows :)

November 2012
Finals it is really a tough race and i had to pray to God everyday t give me deliverance. Even though someone dear to me had gone elsewhere, but i am glad that i managed to pull through

December 2012
Preparation for the next year has started. slowly but surely :) we had out Christmas gift exchange at dou's house :) the romantic and idol got me hooked haha as well.. surpassed running man and i visited my childhood manage and anime: fruits basket it is really inspiring and i think i will add tohru honda to the list of people i look up to as my role model, behind seohyun since she is not a real lady haha :)

Anyways, in a nutshell, 2012 has been a fruitful year. I have experience many things, gone through some stuff that maybe many 20 year-old peeps have not been through. the experience of everyone has been different this year. But we will emerge stronger and closer through our growth. Thank you God for seeing me through this year. Though they say it will end, but it didn't, showing your promise of your second coming :) looking forward to that. 2013 would be a blast with so much more. I hope to make new friends and grow beautifully as a person :) God bless everyone! Have a blessed 2012 end!!

This year, has definitely been a very fruitful one. I would like to thank each and everyone who has walked it through with me, adding to my little box of memories :) New friendships were forged, old ones strengthened and even older ones still holding on, i thank God that i have been blessed bountifully and hope that everyone has too :) even though the start was bumpy and the end was a roller coaster, i have come to terms with the fact that some people do need to leave when their time is up. Losing someone dear makes my cherish the ones i have even more.

New experiences would be how i would summarize 2012 :) Almost everything i did this year was a first :) I am really grateful to the people who have shaped me this way and exposed me to some parts of life that i would never have imagined myself venturing in :) Thank God once again for seeing me through everything no matter the outcome.

Once again, 2012 has been good and i hope to enter 2013 (a cliche i know), WITH A BLAST :D God Bless!
