Korea 5

Day 5

“An adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is only an adventure wrongly considered.” ~ G. K. Chesterton

Starting from today, i am going to include a quote on every post (thanks* to sharmaine jie haha inspiration!)

Free and easy day today!!
Woke up at 8am today to leave early for the (apparent) cleaning service to come.
we were supposed to go downtown today for our own exploration. oh boy was it an adventure haha
we walked around daejeon (outside the west gate) to look for a store that can top up our T-money card. 7-eleven cannot do that for us unfortunately :( so we went to CU store haha the guy was quite nice :) actually service staff are all quite nice so its cool :P it was pretty good to walk around and check out our surroundings, love all the little cafes that we can most probably get sandwiches or take outs from :)

anyways, had lunch in school haha totally broke now!!

after lunch we went to the main gate to take the bus to downtown (or what we thought was going in the direction of downtown) haha #104 from the main gate bus stop right outside school goes to another place (definately NOT downtown, Galleria time world or Dunsang-dong) the area was pretty rural like construction going on here and there, we actually found out that we were heading in the wrong direction after about... 10 stops? haha pretty blur huh. but we were a little worn out from the walk in the morning that's why haha :) so we alighted and went to explore at Hanbat National School (hopefully i got the name right) haha so it was quite exciting for us though xp we went to the nearby bus stop after that and tool #104 in the correct direction :) had to pass KAIST again to get to Galleria.

Galleria was pretty much this high-end departmental store.... something like the Lafayette in Paris, just that they sell more affordable food haha :) we roamed around the area, hiding in the shops to keep warm. it was really cold (0 degrees!) i really like the food system they have in Korea. You order from the cashier and they will hand you this receipt where there is a number and you need to locate your store so when the number on your receipt flashes on this huge tv screen, you know where to get your food. The other great thing that Singapore should adopt is providing water at every cafeteria or food court. They have like 3 water dispensers with metal cups placed in sterilizers so after before or during a meal if you feel like drinking just warm or cool or hot water even, you can just go to the dispenser and get a cup :) foc. so its nice cause i really need to drink water after every meal and the water in my bottle is cooled after walking around for so long haha :) so Singapore Govt!! Please adopt this system :))

Didn't really buy anything. it was more of look seeing. hmm... most of my money is spent on food. so i need to somehow save up :)

the only bummed thing is that super show 5 tickets are SOLD OUT!! heard from my international friend that after the ticket sales were launched, they were all taken up in just 2 mins :/ how am i supposed to fight with them!! but i really want to watch suju in action in their home ground cause its just so expensive to get the tickets and watch them in Singapore :/ the timing probably clashes with school anyways. its really sad :( praying about it hoping to just the tickets somehow haha like win in a competition or something. but everything happens for a reason. hopefully i'll be able to catch cn blue live on 25 or 26 may!! yay!

school is starting soon so i really need to take care! God will bless me and guide me.!!
take care everyone. tmr's going to be another day. but it would be a slow walking one :)
photos up tmr i think and i will get to oovoo with my parents tmr yippe!! :)

=do something right=
