Korea 80

Day 80

Woah Gnarket is seriously really really fast! i made my purchase yesterday and my book arrived today! yippee!! yes i admit i am still a book addict no matter in which state i am in or country or continent for that matter haha. its an English book if you guys were wondering. My Korean is not that good to be able to read a Korean book by myself. Oki i know how to READ Korean BUT i do not understand what i am reading. so basically its like learning a new English word without knowing the meaning. Just monkey listen monkey pronounce and try to make it sound like what i heard. haha well. we speak English here most of the time. Don't be surprise. 1) we're in the 21st century, most Koreans especially shop owners are able to speak English, a little or even Mandarin. 2) in KAIST, the students here speak practically American or British English and the people we converse with are mostly international students. Sadly we have more international friends than Korean counterparts but hey! there are still nice :D haha.

Went to downtown to acc Maureen to get her hair permed. First time watching the entire process which didn't take that long. haha. We also visited the restaurant called "The Kitchen" oki its our second time there in a week. First i really need to say that this restaurant is run by a one man's show. The sever, cashier, washer and chef is one and the same guy. Our hearts go all our for this guy man!! Don't think that with this tiring job, we were served a sloppy dish NAH! NOPE! his food is really of the finest quality and his ingredients are generously given and cooked as well. so really salute and thumbs up to him!! :) i guess this is really what they mean by if you have the passion for something, you would go ALL OUT. like seriously no matter how hard the circumstances are. We came right before the lunch crowd so yeah :) lucky us haha.

Currently spamming Baskin Robbins here as well as it is relatively cheap to eat it here as compared to in Singapore :D gosh, i am really going to miss the food here when i head back home :'(

7 more weeks to enjoy!

the book : Nudge

'the book that changes the way we think about choice, showing how we can influence people, improving decisions about health, wealth and happiness.'

=do something right=
