its funny how I stopped making presents for him, but started making presents for another him.

Caught 47 ronin and Frozen with the guys. I guess everything happened for a reason. we didn't manage to catch the 2pm one cause the seats were really bad. So we shifted it to the back and caught 47 ronin first. well, thanks* to lin's foreshadowing on how 47 ronin was going to be a waste a time, the film wasn't THAT bad as i expected it to. The CGs were good and elaborated. I got to see kou shibasaki haha. There was also some sword fighting action. so yeah. it was all right.

Frozen on the other hand was the obvious winner. Once again, animation managed to impress me friends :) light-hearted family comedy always brings in the spirit of Christmas! :)

Particularly, Olaf the snowman. oki let's talk about the graphics first. Disney did it again. I could see the intricately shaped snowflake every time it floats down. In additional, the entire ice castle was simply gorgeous, cold and lonely yet magnificent at the same time :) the sibling love was themed throughout the entire show with a little comedic effect placed on love. Well, it is after all a children's tale :)
The star for me besides the two gorgeous princess, the endearing reindeer and the adorable trolls was of course Olaf. the snowman. the uncanny side-kick, friend, advisor and wandering spirit :)

here are some memorable quotes from him that teaches us the true meaning of love. What marvelled me the most was actually the fact that he as a snowman loved the heat. haha. making me think of deeper issues like.. death. after all, snow and heat do not go well together, yet he seems not to be afraid of disappearing.
