Korea 65

Day 65

I might have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. Why do i say that? well, i have this inferiority complex in the morning. Maybe its due to the fact that i saw his photo with her again. By chance. nothing intentional or whatsoever. But still she looks good. healthy good. enough about her. time to take about him. its been a while since i've ever spoken face to face with him. Its like something i've been trying to run away from, a past that i do not want people to discover is back to haunt me. Fleeing from it for roughly around close to 2 years now.. its tiring. i don't want to do this anymore. can't we just talk normally? i have the fear that she won't let me. that whatever we talk about, would need to be vet by her. Yes i admit that i am ashamed to think of her like that. but i cannot help it. she gave me that impression once. once bitten twice shy. but i hate it that i am losing a friend. Nope i absolutely refuse to make the first move unless its too unbearable for me. i guess maybe i should just leave this situation alone. really. :/ my morning was spent trying to pick myself up from my past and getting on with school here. trying not to compare myself with her, not knowing the full story. trying my best to be myself. Thank God i managed to do it by myself. (don't dare to bother anyone since they are all busy with finals, but i managed to talk my dong sang about it haha so not too bad), so my day was fine throughout till the end :)

From today, i am going to be a better person. A unique individual! Striving to surpass no one but myself!!

all right some interlude about Monday - Maureen's birthday. Other that funny things happening on that day e.g outdoor lecture. weird things were happening too. haha i think 2 strangers mistook Maureen for their friend. this guy who was riding a bike towards us actually said hi to her and waved. lol. then another girl did that on the bus haha. Next, i realized that Koreans like convenience too. other than online shopping and having our hall lobby littered with parcels, boxes of all shapes and sizes, they also have free shipping right to your doorstep erm.. i mean balcony. yeah you got that right, don't need to rub your eyes. right to your house balcony window. Think fireman ladder with automated lift carrier facility that sends all your parcels right up to your window. we actually witness this process. initially thought that it was a crane and there were some construction work going on but i was wrong. haha so it was kind of cool. :)

all right now for the finale!!
i caught IRON MAN 3 in 4D!! how cool is that!! heart pumping, exhilarating action all the way!! the 3D effects were not as wonderful but thumbs up for the additional seat movements, water spraying jets situated in front, the air mists and the wind that came from who knows where to mimic the weather whenever a snow or beach scene comes on. overall the story plot was not bad. lot of gasps here and there from me cause it was just too thrilling haha. so yeah i had fun :)

Got our tickets, Got our specs, we're ready to roll!! (maureen even wore contacts for this!!)
 THE CHAIR
 Movie's going to start soon!!
Ms Pepper Potts is awesome :) so cool and fit!!

Another good thing that happened today was that i finally bought my AUTOMATED umbrella!!! yay! although its still quite costly, but its cheaper than the one i saw at 서 면 in Busan. haha plus i really like the design even though Maureen preferred the one with apples, but i like mine better and it was 1,000 won cheaper than the apple one kekex. :D

Our bus kind of came quite late so by the time we had dinner, it was already 9.20pm. sorry to the uncle whose shop we always patronize. sorry that he had to go home late and his family have to wait for him :( we'll bring our friends there next week when they come as well as give you some bak kua before we leave!!! thanks* uncle!! :)

one thing to note : when taking the subway in Korea, make sure you count your money before you top it up at the information counter. i wanted to top up just 5,000 won but i gave the guy 6 instead... couldn't get my money back :( well you can top up any amount here in Korea i suppose haha so unlike Singapore!!. all right time to sleep even though i have clothes to pack!! gah. oh oh and i finally shipped Lin's stuff over to Singapore haha can track it on the EMS too :) yay!. hope it reaches her in time!!

God Bless everyone!! jia you!
